Hey partner, not sure how often you check it anymore, but I’ve spent some time reading pretty much your entire blog here. I worked on the carnival, for the almost the whole season last year. I would never call myself a carnie. Certinly not yet. Will I go back? I don’t know. Maybe I wasn’t strong enough. Maybe I really didn’t know what the fuck I was doing, just runnin from the cops. Maybe it’s not for me. I’m not really sure yet. But I sure do miss it. The lifestyle. Your insight is inspiring. I used to work with a guy who called himself “Teddy Bear” Smoked Marlboro Lights, Black, and a hell of an agent. I remember he told me he had some family in Kanas, I got to meet his wife in Hutch. I met up with him on West Concessions, working for North American Midway and Wade. He put his ass on the line for me many times, and he hardly knew me. A great guy. I dunno if it’s the same person, but how many Teddy Bears are there running around the midway? He tought me alot about the job. Your stories have too. Stay strong
I know two guys called “Teddy bear”. I think I know the guy you’re talking about. The one I wrote about is a white guy, kinda rolly polly, hence the name “Teddy Bear”.
If you miss the life, go back, stick with it and see how it turns out. It’s a good life, I’ll always miss it.
I hope you visit frequently here. If so I would love for you to contact me. I have read your blog and would love to interview you. Please let me know! Thanks, Meg

Carnies are supposed to be on next week’s Wife Swap show. I saw some preview.
Hello there,
I have to say your blog was amazing! I read every post and I really felt the love, and things you have experienced through your words. I'd be great for you to have a book, or continue publishing stories like you have here on your blog. I'm not sure if you'll read this, or not, but keep on keeping on buddy!
Are you still around? I'd love to know how you're doing. I've loved your blog for some time now.
Hey – you still out there??
Would love to talk – write me…
Pretty please.
I'm alive and well. Just rewriting a lot of stuff on here. Dug a box with all my old journals.
